Hands - Thai Foundation

Add Hands Across the Water (Hands), originally established as an Australian charity following the devastating Boxing Day tsunami, has emerged as the largest Australian charity providing vital support in Thailand. Founded with the aim of fostering a brighter future and empowering children throughout Thailand, Hands has raised over 660 million baht over two decades.

In a significant milestone for the charity, the Thai Foundation was granted charity status in July 2022, solidifying the organisation's commitment to its mission. Central to its efforts is a focus on education and creating pathways to employment, with the ultimate goal of guiding children into adulthood equipped to make their own choices, establish families, and sustain themselves financially.

Hands Thailand is dedicated to nurturing children into capable, independent young adults, ensuring they have the tools to shape their own destinies.
